Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunters Education Program

Description

A Texas Parks and Wildlife Hunters Education Program will be held at the clubhouse on Sunday Oct. 25, 8:00 AM - 2:30 PM. This session consists of classroom instruction, field skills and a live fire exercise. Cost is $15. Anyone born on or after September 2, 1971 must complete training to legally hunt in Texas. Attached is a QR code for online registration. Requirements by age: - under age 9, hunter must be 'accompanied' with a licensed hunter, 17 years of age or older who has passed hunter education (or born before 9/2/1971) AND is in within normal voice control - ages 9 - 16, you must have successfully completed a hunter education in-person course or be 'accompanied' - ages 17 and older, you must successfully complete an in-person or approved online only hunter education course, OR purchase a 'Hunter Education Deferral' ($10) AND be accompanied.
