The La Grange Area Chamber of Commerce and The Texas Czech Heritage & Cultural Center (TCHCC) invites you to attend an Emergency Response Presentation on Monday, November 17, 2025, at 6:00 PM at our center in La Grange. Captain Jason Porter CPT, CM, U.S. Army and Mr. Josh Vandever Fayette County EMS Director will lead a presentation on the emergency response to the Kerr County flood on July 4, 2025, highlighting lessons learned and the importance of strategic planning, interagency communication, and the coordination of domestic and international resources in critical situations. The program will also spotlight the enduring partnership between the United States and the Czech Republic in crisis response and humanitarian assistance, an alliance that continues to strengthen our shared capabilities in emergency preparedness. This event brings together local officials, law enforcement, emergency response leaders, and community stakeholders to promote collaboration and awareness. Refreshments will be provided, and we kindly ask that you RSVP by November 10 to confirm attendance.
